I first flew a CR2, US Airways Express (Mesa), PHL-STL in 1998. A boxed meal was served and mints were passed out prior to landing. So much has changed since then, I don't hate the fall the of the CR2.

It looks like DHA was served from 1979 to at least 1984. During that time it was only served nonstop from JFK.

Trans World One was introduced in 1995 replacing First & Ambassador. That was the final interior update. TWA 800 had that interior. Prior to that, I think the last update was in the late '70s or early '80s.

I can't see anyone wanting to fly this train wreck of an airline. It's a shame that they have ruined a once great airline this way. My parents flew the original version back in the 70's to Hawaii and had a great experience on a DC-10. I don't think EA ever flew to Hawaii. Are you thinking of Western?

I've flown the 767-200/300/400 over the years on American, Continental, Delta, Qantas, and US Airways. It's such a passenger friendly regardless of which cabin you're sitting. TWA flew a JFK-CDG daytime flight in the '90's I think

I don't get why Hub is such a forbidden word to them. My first WN flight in 1996 was connecting at MDW. MDW was a dump back then. You walked up a flight of stairs to get to the jetway.

The LHR base is also fairly small, 430 FAs in March 2020 down from 480 in July 2015. PA opened the LHR base in 1972.

I could be wrong, but one of the most expensive cities in the world, the requirements of working at an airport , including background checks and the difficulty just getting to work.
