Re: Air China 747 just did a round trip to Pyongyang

Well, here is the flightaware. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/b-2447 Perhaps Kim is talking to China leaders as you say. Trump and presumably his VC-25 are in Canada talking with G7 leaders. It will be interesting if Kim rides this civil airliner to the summit, or if he has his own equ...

Re: Fatal Incident Where Plane Returned to Service

One would think that if an accident involved fatalities, the airline would remove that aircraft from service out of respect for the victims and their families following your logic then... a road where someone died in a car accident should be closed off permenently.. a hospital should be closed and ...

everyone has presented some interesting viewpoints, and I do get why some airlines would put the plane back in service. This is just my personal opinion 1

Re: Fatal Incident Where Plane Returned to Service

That makes no sense, take a train collision at a grade crossing with a car. If someone unfortunately passes from that they aren't going to remove the locomotive from service because of an accident. The general public would not be riding on that locomotive every day though. Imagine if someone had to...

Re: Norwegian Air's DEN - CDG flight is already failing?

With Denver being such a strong Star Alliance base, as well as the bad press for DY in the United States. It seems like the perfect storm for DY to fail.

Re: SAN/TIJ CBX-Cross Border Express Experiences

Obviously you overlooked or didn’t bother reading that there is no airline representation on the US side. If you have an issue you have to drive to the next border crossing and then to the airport to get your resolution handled. And that is with ALL airlines. You can’t just use the facilities and c...

Re: SAN/TIJ CBX-Cross Border Express Experiences

Sounds like more of an issue with Volaris and not at all an issue about actually crossing the border. Obviously you overlooked or didn’t bother reading that there is no airline representation on the US side. If you have an issue you have to drive to the next border crossing and then to the airport ...

Re: Chicago Aviation News - 2018

A brief article on the thinking behind the new AA LGA/ORD shuttle: https://www.bizjournals.com/chicago/news/2018/05/21/why-american-airlines-started-a-ny-chicago-shuttle.html No surprise: “Fifteen percent of our customers generate 45 percent of our revenue”, thus the attempt to capture business cus...

AI 2018

Hi, I am going to AI 2018 at DCA and it will be my first time going to any of the AI shows. I am particularly interested in the safety cards that they have there, so I was wondering how many cards and dealers they usually have there, and how much they are usually sold for. As well as the general sho...

London City Airport thoughts

What are your thoughts on London City Airport? I do not have a major fondness for the airport, but what about you? I flew out of there and it was not fun. The staff were kind of rude, and there are no jet bridges and we boarded when it was raining :o :o :o . so comment your thoughts!
