Wow Bao has reopened. I had dinner there on Friday. Apparently the woodfired pizza place opened back up as well. According to the airport's Twitter feed, Shake Shack and the Cantina will reopen in the next couple months.

Totally random, but I love the piano that is at the airport under Terminal 1. How long has that been there? It's a beautiful instrument and was in-tune! I wish my home airport had a public piano.

At least whatever airline moves in will have a nice modern terminal to use. Did they ever open an eatery/store pre or post security there? The last time I was there, they still only had a temporary stand pre-security where you could buy a limited amount of items.

I passed through MEM yesterday, and there were lots of lights on in the new portion of the airport. Plastic over the seats, but it looked quite impressive. Great lighting plan, open and airy with high ceilings and lots of natural light. Once it's open, it should be quite beautiful!

Y'all are so lucky to have continued strong legacy support from UA. It's really smart on their part. I'm continually frustrated that AA hasn't kept up at least some kind of similar focus here in PIT.
