Re: TAP post 1H 2019 loss; government pushes Neeleman to sell stake

Which are you saying here, TAP or T-A-P? Why is it so difficult to understand that TAP (or T.A.P. or T-A-P) is an acronym and not a word? Is it still officially an acronym? Yes, why wouldn't it be? The legal name of the company is Transportes Aéreos Portugueses, S.A. and TAP it's acronym.

If I remember correctly TP dropped VCP way before AD started flying the route. If I remember correctly, both were serving this route at some point. This route was handed over to Azul once TAP sent back the two A332 that they borrowed from them for TP's US operations. You are both wrong. TAP dropped...

The OP's basic logic is essentially flawed. Today TAP has released new pax numbers showing that they have flown 4.9M pax up to date, which is 100K or 2% more than the same period of last year. At a point where they have only started 3 of the planned new routes: DUD, BSL and TLV. Most will start only...

TAP Air Portugal will feature a cabin with 16 J full-flat seats in a staggered configuration (similar to Aer Lingus) and only 152 Y recliner seats, which is among the lowest seat counts foreseen for the LR.
