Re: British Airways News and Discussion - 2023

It's been a few weeks now that the new route BA996 / BA998 to Cologne has been operating. I'm very curious how the route is performing. As it's my local airport and BA is the only other airline with feasible long haul connections besides LH via MUC and TK via IST I'd love to see it perform well and ...

I love the move by Saudia. It's a beautiful livery with tradition. The only thing is that it is quite similar to Iraqi Airways but I'm happy with that nonetheless.
Gonna miss the nice font of the previous logo though but I guess you can't have everything

The beautiful little airline Motor Sich from Ukraine.
Before COVID and the horrible war I had the chance to take 3 An24 flights within Ukraine: LWO-IEV, IEV-ODS, ODS-IEV.
I was hoping to get another chance to fly them again...

DUS still serves a very populated area so I could still see a smaller longhaul base there for service to Nor...

Condor is more and more following Air Berlin's long haul model but they do it significantly better. It's interesting that they have a b...

It's just a matter of time till the Gulf states crumple under their established culture of abuse and human rights violations. List of rare aircraft types that you can still fly on

I was wondering if there's any current list of rare aircraft types that are still in service and what routes they're used on. JFK is much more constraint and much more competitive than you'd like a hub to be. With a lot of O&D traffic for New York it just doesn't make much sense to hand out seats to connecting passengers. I've only ever flown to JFK once on the nonstop DL107 service from FRA and that was when I was sta...
