One thing to straighten out—it’s a Turbo Commander, descendent of the Aero Commander line. Gulfstream bought up the Aero Commander line-up from the single-engines to the Jet Commander. It’s not a current Gulfstream.

The example, as I take it in post #1, is the building instead of individual metering, has one meter and the cost of electricity is divided up. What incentive is there for some dwellers to save electricity, if any the cost wastage will be divided up by all the residents?

Whatever happens on the outside, happens on the inside said a trapshooting friend who was a CO. He told me inmates would scare COs by telling what school their children attended, where their wives or husbands worked.

Shorter flights due to less range inherent in the design. It takes flight time in cruise to make the fuel savings. -200s do lots of TATL and HI flying, the -300 not so much.

I had a chief pilot who flew P-51s out of Tinian or one of those bases escorting B-29s. As soon the rumors started about destroying a city with one bomb, he started building sailboats for lagoon yacht club he set up.

Probably because the radio is secondary to maintaining control of the aircraft? This looks like a giant nothing burger. The deviation could have been caused with one serious gust of wind. There’s a pilot over on PPW who went thru the eclipse at F450 in a G600 over Mexico. They were at F470 but the WB-57s were at 470 and F500 in a block. Doing steep turn practice at 450 and M.90

There was a corporate couple,he a pilot, she a F/A. They specialized working for the crazy, difficult owners who had high turnover of crews. “Here’s the deal, we guarantee x time; no complaints, here’s our bill and contract”. Very expensive for the times.

The reason why ILS4 at LGA must be handflown is because there are two roads that pass right by the runway, Runway Drive and Grand Central Parkway. Not common because there’s not that many couples at the same operator, but it happens. We had a couple in the Reserves, but Sullivan Law prevented them from flying together. They’ve been at UA together for years , she is way senior, IIRC

Because Iran is one of those wacky places that uses an extra :30 minutes from Z. There time is Z + 3:30.just to be this wacky contingent includes Newfoundland, India, parts of Australia, so I’m not being pejorative to any specific group.

That could not have been very relevant since the F-100F and F-15 A/B only overlapped in US service by like 2 years.
