Dear Ladies and gents,
I noticed that ANA have ordered only 3 B787-10's. Is it likely that they will order more ? Will BA/UA perhaps order some more -10's?
On a separate note I know ALC has quite a large order for the B787-10 too, does anyone know who they have placed them with?
Does that mean the two B737-300s are finally heading for the scrapper? Probably not.If these were to go the aircraft replacing them would probably have a similar seat total e.g B733 142seats Thats not certain. The 737-300s may originally have been acquired on the basis that they were cheap and read...Jump to post

According to this TK website, the final decision is to be made tomorrow: (In Turkish) http://www.kokpit.aero/karar-yarin I wonder why? So, it seems like TK still interested in taking delivery of this frame. What could be TK's position here? A discount? less charges for deferred MAX deliveries? A di...Jump to post
Yes especially with the larger engines To be honest I don't even think the engines look at that different, although that is not the best pic as the plane is obviously not fueled and loaded up and is sitting much higher on its gears than it would typically be in service. Trust me the engines look po...Jump to post
Dear ladies and gentlemen, In a year with many many first flights it seemed appropriate to celebrate the MAX nines first flight coming up on the 13th (would have chosen a different date myself.) Please let's not turn this in to another MAX 9 bashing thread. Mods pls fee free to delete this thread if...Jump to post

My sentiments exactly, I'm surprised at how Iran did not waste a moment to jump int bed with Boeing, no self respect at all considering their detest for US at state level. How much of that is detest, and how much of it is for public consumption (on both sides). The more ties Iran has with the west,...Jump to post

AvWeek (paywall) has Rolls-Royce Might Pitch UltraFan For Boeing New Midsize Airplane : It looks like RR is thinking of joining the dead horse beaters club... This shows the timeline imho. Ultrafan has been given as a 2025 engine by RR; so the EIS of the MoM will have to be after 2025. If we are ta...Jump to post

This direct quote from QR's CEO confirms that QR's 737-8 MAXs will not be flown by QR itself, but related airlines: "in October 2016 Qatar Airways signed a letter of intent for up to 60 Boeing 737 MAX 8s.
