Re: First Look: United reveals new uniforms

I suspect the picture of the flight attendant with blouse is throwing everyone off. If you look at the picture of the FA wearing the trench coat, you can see the same pattern blouse underneath. If that blouse was better fitting/tucked in, it’s not nearly as off putting. The ramp and catering unifor...

Re: First Look: United reveals new uniforms

As for the FA uniforms, they immediately reminded me of Qantas. Agreed, that was my first thought as well. Incidentally that's why I disagree with many other posters saying that there must be a new livery in the works. Qantas have had that uniform for five years now, and launched a new brand/livery...

The new AS-standard interior has started showing up on the Boeing 737-700 fleet. This will eventually move to all the Airbus' and the 738/739 fleet. I caught ship 619 the other week on a PDX-SEA jaunt in first class. The new AS first class seat is terrific. Bravo AS. It's comfortable. Good padding....

Re: Delta’s A330-900neo Business Class product?

Agreed. Delta does not hide the fact that they're big on consistency. It’s a bit much to say DL is big on consistency when they have 4 different Delta One configurations in service. I understand they want to move to one layout, but the suites will never fit on the 757’s or any narrowbodies, so they...

Re: United Airlines CEO to Make Historic Route Announcement Tomorrow (12/12)

I think there is too much negativity towards UA on this. Sure, some of the routes were already announced, but UA is the only US airline with nonstops to India, and the only one to fly to MEL and PPT. They've also done expansion at SFO domestically to places like PAE, CMH, and FAI. If DL had done th...
