Will be interesting to see two competing feeds, UA at DEN and BA at LHR. The interesting thing is that in terms of connections, they actually compete in different markets. That said, DEN-LON is getting crowded! Not too long ago, it was just BA and now it's BA, DY, and UA!

Will be interesting to see if the new gates for partner airlines *cough* Emirates *cough* will be A380 capable. JetBlue has quite a large number of partner airlines, and if all of them used a new T5 extension, it could very well create a new Int'l terminal altogether on the T6 site.

I kind of see this as a major fail on the part of the legacies if Norwegian starts DEN-CDG before either Star or Skyteam. The only legacy carrier that's actually been starting new TATL routes is BA and that's to keep out DY. So far, it seems to be working, but AF is a sitting duck. I can't remember...

Recently flew EY back to the US and have mixed opinions about the preclearance facility at AUH. It speeds up exit in the US but complicates the departure. Does it actually offer EY a competitive advantage and was it built more as a result of US or UAE desire?

If one looks at the map of destinations EK serves, QR serves all the same markets (and then some). When SFO comes online, SEA will be left as the one market EK serves that QR does not. Is it a matter of time?

If Norwegian comes to Tampa, I'd be surprised if it was anything other than Gatwick. TPA already has LGW. I don't know if Norwegian has ever launched a destination with CDG before LGW but it would make much more sense to start a new route than split it with BA. They've already started CDG from MCO ...

This is an extremely naïve question, but if one wants to fly QR from a non hub city post the AA cut, how would you connect? EK funnels through B6, EY and QR had AA. Now both EY and QR are at the same level of connectivity as PK without AA! Anybody have an answer?
