I don't see it happening. There's not a whole lot you can do in Saudi Arabia unless you're a Muslim. They aren't really that friendly towards Westerners and almost no one speaks English or any other Western languages there so they wouldn't be very well equipped to deal with non-Arabic tourists.

I don't get it. Why do you distrust a company that has products and expertise in multiple types of electronics? I currently daily drive a 2015 Mazda 6. I really like it. It's efficient, comfortable, and the 6-speed manual is precise and a joy to operate. It's a pretty anemic car in terms of performance but it can easily get out of its own way and it gets up to 39 mpg highway. It's a great looking vehicle too....

I don't really see how relying on a spiral staircase that rises into the pool as the only way to get in and out is a good idea. It can and will fail at some point. This idea will never work unless there are some kind of permanent steps or ladders to get into the pool.

They often didn't fill them. As a few others have mentioned, load factor wasn't a big concern in the regulated era of US airline travel. Load factors were on average much lower back then than they are today.

Getting bought out by Boeing was a better option than the government propping up McDonnell Douglas with taxpayer's money. Bailouts are a last resort to keep a company going when there is no other way. McDonnell Douglas didn't get bailed out because it wasn't necessary.
