How does QF deal with the Curfew at LHR? I understand that movements are based on noise levels. The 787 should be fairly quiet on arrival. Will they be allowed to land at 03:30? I have seen on FR24 that aircraft have circled to wait for the lifting of the curfew. QF9 wouldn't have the fuel for that...

If this is the amount of padding they've put in the schedules, would be interesting to see how much quicker the eastbound is with a healthy tailwind and no night time curfew at PER to worry about (arriving middle of the day). But surely this will severely bit into your "alternative to watching...

Only 3 hours into a 17+ hour flight and already at 350. That's amazing. Yes it is amazing. In the last few minutes of the flight, the IAS data seemed to fluctuate between 400 and 900kts as it climbed through 4,000ft up to 6,000ft.
