Nagoya Chubu Airport ~ Antonov and Dreamlifter

I am planning to visit and spot at NGO and I was wondering if there are specific dates that the Dreamlifter and Antonov AN124 arrives and departs from the airport. It'd be great if someone could give me some info on that. Thanks in advance :D

Re: Thai looking to buy around 30 aircraft to modernise fleet

What does having first class have to do with the Y product? BKK isn't a premium destination in the same way HKG/SIN are. Not many airlines offer F to BKK. Would TG do better with a few more Y seats in place of F. MH don't serve a particularly premium market either whereas CX/SQ do. Like the other m...

Sure TG offer a good if not a little inconsistent product but they don't serve the most premium market in BKK and Thailand, that doesn't mean they can't have a great product. Do they need an F product? It will only be on the A380 once the 744's go thought that's still a few years off. MH aren't rea...

TG are a carrier that need to go 10 abreast 777's IMO, they seem to have high costs and aren't really a premium carrier even if they think they are, fitting as many seats in as possible seems to make more sense to me. Our guess would porbably narrow dowm to a few: A330neo, A350, B787 and B77X. Thai always split their order accordingly between both. It would be good if they can arm wrestle either one to take those A345/346 trade in for newer jet. At least better than sitting at Utapao/DMK doing nothing. I'm surpr...

So what is your point? Previously you have mentioned long haul doesn't work and now you are stating lots of fifth freedom traffic for a route that is more than 10 hours. Surely all these airlines are not dumping money into the pool if all these mid or long haul, with or without fifth freedom, doesn...

Yep. Longhaul LCC still doesn't work. It works. That's the 200 back seats of Emirates A380s... no long haul LCC can compete against that. They better try fighting against the Japanese carriers. Well yes, that's my point. Nope, longhaul, but of course ultra longhaul is out of the question. Ahhhhh th...

Why are airlines bragging so much about how many seats are places on airplane these days, they have no shame. A330 should be 8 seats per row not 9. Air Asia X is a ULCC, there is a point at which its too ridiculous and 440 seats on a A330-300 is just silly. Airbus and Boeing should be shamed for al...

Re: New Zealand Aviation Thread - May 2017

We're missing the fact that the one EK A380 is being replaced by two (!) QF A332s. With a seat count of 271 for each A332, that's not a drastic reduction in capacity relative to the A380 - that said, one of the A332s is going to be a 6 day a week service. I think this is very wise - in terms of QF'...
