I don’t agree with GA’s response here but does anyone else think it was quite nice of the cabin crew to go to the effort of handwriting the menu so the passenger at least had something? I’m sure it was a one off that they ran out of menus.

Jump to postI agree with hOMSar. I think the audio track may have selectively picked up some of the full spectrum of sound from that takeoff and landing. The fact that he was seated towards the back of the cabin near a toilet block and galley may have contributed.
