Re: EK reducing, not adding in U.S.?

I just took MCO-DXB (on our way to MLE) on Saturday and I was shocked how empty it was. I absolutely loved flying them. It’s is truly an amazing airline and Dubai was breathtaking too. But it would not surprise me in the least if they pulled back MCO. It’s been a long time (probably 15 years) that I...

I no longer make much effort to fly the legacies. I fly Southwest unless the route gives me no other choices: 1 - I don't fly enough to earn status on the legacies 2 - The FF miles on the legacies have been so devalued that they're not really worth it any more 3 - WN gives me 31" pitch and fri...

The thing that surprises me is that even at a three hub airport, the fares in a out of DEN are pretty high. I live in TPA and have UA, WN and F9 options (although I don’t take F9), and the fares are pretty decent for that much competition and options. For a business that is good and probably why the...

If the transcript above is correct I can start to see how this happened and both ATC and the Pilot are a bit at fault, but more the Pilot. That’s smart of Emirates. While of course flying a piston I am sure is nothing like flying a jet, I have to believe the avionics, autopilot, throttles and side stick are as close to an Airbus as you are going to get in a Piston. I know I love flying it.
