If you ask me for THE all-time iconic aircraft related to airport picture, than I say without any doubt: B747 and Hong Kong Kai-Tak (no matter what airline, route or 747-version).

Do seat manufacturers like Sicma or Recaro still make 18" or 18,5" standard economy class seats today?
All airlines apearantly seem to buy seats of about 17" of width in order to squeeze in as many seat seats as possible per row.
