Re: Delta Aircraft Refurbishment - 2018

I fly all the time and I really appreciate AVOD nearly 100% of the time, across the network. You're quite fortunate. Even if we assume all A320s have AVOD (they still don't), and that all AVOD is created equal (it's not with the old system unfortunately being recycled on some 737s/757s), about 60% ...

Re: Delta captain ridicules Tamar Braxton for #flying while black (according to many articles)

There wasn't one mention of skin color by the pilot. This is a case of someone not following the crews instructions and bringing race into the argument for no reason. I don't care if you are white or black: If you can't follow the rules and comply with crew instructions, you don't need to be flying ...

That makes 300 737-800s now, not counting the 1 MAX aircraft on property. Quite an impressive number. Just wish they weren't ripping out the IFE and cramming in more seats.

Can I ask what people hate so much about the post merger United livery ? Is it just because it's the old Continental scheme ? Is it because there's no traditional United elements other than name ? WN recently cut all night flights out of ATL on the most recent schedule from what I can tell with the retirement of the 737-300s. I could not find any flights past 7:30 or 8pm at night. I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer the 737 because I like the engine noise on takeoff. Call me an aviation enthusiast, but the louder the better on takeoff. I purposely usually sit towards the back of the plane on a 737 to hear the loud takeoffs. It's fun to me.
