I realize that service into and out of Florida is saturated, leading to low yields in many markets. Is this true of *intra*-Florida flying though. (I have no idea, thus why I am asking). TPA-MIA for example always looks pretty costly for the stage length.

LHR has been weaker on yeilds for the US carriers as of late. UA has mentioned that, and even reduced EWR-LHR this summer (I think leasing out the unused slots).

It's likely not quite the same scenario at AA since they have the BA connecting hub, but DL and UA are highly O&D for LHR.
