Re: AA drops 6 NFL charter operations

I'm surprised Delta hasn't stepped in. They have a number of 68-seat 752s that do only charters. XTRA Airways also has a number of 738s available as well, if they're not stuck on prison charters for Justice. Humm, 68 seats is too small for an NFL team of 53 players, 10 or so coaches, trainers, and ...

Re: AA drops 6 NFL charter operations

Yeah, no way to carry an NFL charter on a 737. I think all teams use widebodies, maybe some 757 or 321. Your looking at 53 REALLY BIG players on the roster, a dozen or more coaches & trainers, staff. Adds up in a hurry. Talk about being not informed..Have you looked at Miami Air's web site seat...

So, let's recap. We are mandating people to pay thousands of dollar per year for insurance they don't need, can't use (as I illustrated), and will never use. They remain uninsured. More than likely it's a 738. They used an US/AA 321 up through last season, and since they don't have any cross country trips,I suspect a 48 F class seating and 70 coach will be the ticket.
