I don’t think without huge price discounts (like WOW air) Europe is set up well to capture America to anything east if west Asia and South Asia. Anyway, Europe certainly didn’t need the extra traffic.

I think ULN-TXL (via SVO) on a 737 is pretty odd, and IIRC, they serve FRA nonstop as well.

Its possible they could demolish 13-31 and build a new terminal or satellites there, to the west of the current terminals, or if they are okay with doing reclamation in the sea to the west, thats another option. Alternatively, they could try something north of 8L-26R.

How does one get there?!

Drive or take the train. The largest city, Wilmington is very close to Philadelphia. In fact if you stretch it, it could even be seen as a suburb of Philly, and the whole state is pretty small, so you’re never more than a few hours from PHL or BWI.

So are you asking which airline has the most distinct routes? Like you would count PDX-JFK, PDX-LAX, PDX-ATL, etc. And then also LAX-JFK, ATL-JFK, ATL-LAX, etc.?

I wonder where all those traffics could possibly be going through DXB from FRA, CDG, and AMS. From LHR most likely India, Australia, and BKK, but what about the rest? Which countries have ties with French, German and the Dutch? People don’t only travel to places they previously colonized. A lot of ...

Demand I would imagine is there, but at 3400nm direct, but probably quite a bit more with ETOPS (there aren’t too many diversion points out there) it might be a bit iffy on a 321LR. Plus, JNB has plenty of comnecting oppertunities.

I’d buy a 787-8 BBJ, a Gulfstream G650, and a Pilatus PC-12, plus maybe something a bit smaller and slower like a Cirrus SR-22, and with the rest of the minet i’d buy a nice house, a few McLaren’s and Porsche’s, and keep the rest to keep the planes airworthy.
