Interestingly enough, this looks like it’s going to make the 77W from NRT sit on the ground for 21+ hours at LAX. Also, including direct one stop no change if plane services, this makes SFO 31 flights per week. That’s insane.

I know many people from Westchester that have also used Norwegian from SWF, and it’s very convenient for people in Mt. Kisco, Edgemont, even White Plains and Scarsdale. SWF takes less time to get to than JFK or EWR, and I’ve heard nothing but praise.

Just get a VPN. I also have an iPhone with iOS 11.3, I also have issues with some public WiFi. VPN fixes it.

Lisbon deserves a special mention. At nearly 27M pax in 2017 it does have a full length taxiway, but each part on a different side of the runway. I don’t think without huge price discounts (like WOW air) Europe is set up well to capture America to anything east if west Asia and South Asia. Anyway, Europe certainly didn’t need the extra traffic.

Its possible they could demolish 13-31 and build a new terminal or satellites there, to the west of the current terminals, or if they are okay with doing reclamation in the sea to the west, thats another option. Alternatively, they could try something north of 8L-26R.

Drive or take the train. The largest city, Wilmington is very close to Philadelphia. In fact if you stretch it, it could even be seen as a suburb of Philly, and the whole state is pretty small, so you’re never more than a few hours from PHL or BWI.

HPN is a decent alternate to NYC. 20-30 minutes from the Bronx, flights to Florida and hubs, nice small terminal. Cape air even runs busses to the City.

Though this is also a recent development, Porsche’s US headquarters are in ATL and their global headquarters are in STR so nowadays both Mercedes-Benz and Porsche can support the flight.

Demand I would imagine is there, but at 3400nm direct, but probably quite a bit more with ETOPS (there aren’t too many diversion points out there) it might be a bit iffy on a 321LR. Plus, JNB has plenty of comnecting oppertunities.
