A brief history of the rise and fall of PHF... AirTran served PHF from the very beginning in the late 1990s as ValuJet. It was one of AirTran's biggest spokes, with as many as 5 daily ATL plus twice-daily LGA and BOS, and once daily MCO. They even connected BOS/LGA-MCO passengers at PHF on occasion...
