I wonder if economy is 3-3-3 or 3-4-3. someone correct me if I am wrong here but I thought Boeing reduced some space in the frames/sidewall etc to allow for 3-4-3 at a more comfortable width? They did. They added 4 inches of width. So the 777X will have the same seat width as the 787 at 10 abreast....

The people over at The Points Guy love him, yes I’m jealous but the love fest is too much. I would agree that the sensationalism around these young followers is getting out of control. I say this as a 25 year old who works in social media and brand marketing.

Such a beautiful aircraft. My first 757 flight was with NW. I'll go out of my way like many others here to book myself on one today. We get multiple DL 757s over the summer months.

I think we'd see a lot more Airbus narrowbodies, particularly NEO's on property. I agree the 787 was important to NW, I could see 788s for long thin routes, and 789s for more premium routes. I would have loved to see the red tail live on.

LH still has the 779 on order, however they've operated jets of similar size together before. Agreed AI is a no go. But everything else sounds plausible.

From what I've seen, the -1A33 and the -1A32 have the same maximum thrust (32,160 lbs). Does the -1A33 have a higher thrust? If not, then why the difference in A321 variants (251 vs 253)?

Who else is still flying the 777-200LR? AC is one I can think of, along with EK/QR. DL operates 8, PIA operates 2, Turkmenistan operates 3, and Iraqi Airways operates 1. DL operates 10. AI offloaded their 77Ls quickly, calling them "gas guzzlers". Like the now vanished A345 they are niche...

One of the last times I flew AA, a flight attendant asked the man next to me if he'd like to move to the exit row for extra leg room. I'm 6 feet 4 inches tall, so naturally I was annoyed. I switched to DL and started ponying up for first class.

I could see AA with the 779 eventually, but the 77W fleet is too young to even consider replacement. I agree with sentiments above about DL, if they want a larger aircraft, the A350-1000 would be a nice step up.

The Y seats look so cheap. A touch of red and that diamond weave pattern would liven it up. I think the finishes overall are cheap, it dulls the product. Yes we do, AA to DFW and DL to ATL, DTW, and MSP depending on the season. Not too long ago, AA was all MD to DFW and ORD out of here. Such isn't the case anymore.

Fantastic report! I have yet to catch one of those A321s, we get a few 319s, 320s, 757s and a slew of MD's at MCI. Cape Codders on Delta always seem to be good, maybe it's just the magic of enjoying them at a higher altitude.
