I’m sorry to resurrect an older thread, but I found a trip report about CX 10 abreast on the 77W. First jet seems to be B-KQY.

Saw on an Instagram post (take it for whatever its worth) that one of the upcoming ELAL 789s will wear a retro livery. Can anyone confirm this? I saw that on Sam Chui's Instagram story. 4X-EDF. Also, it's noted on planespotters.net: https://www.planespotters.net/airframe/Boeing/787/4X-EDF-El-Al-Isr...Jump to post
Hi, MCI is my home airport. I fly DL almost exclusively so I'm in Terminal B 99% of the time I'm flying out. If you're on WN, there's around 4-6 flights that go out around 9 in the morning (DEN, STL, DCA, DCA, MDW, and I think IND) so I'd allot a few extra minutes if you don't have pre-check. I norm...Jump to post
Forgive me if this has been discussed, but did AA ever go back and install PTVs (leather seats, etc.) on the first batch of 737s that had been delivered without them? Cheers. No, and the latest fleet plan has the PTVs being removed. The remaining 738s will be configured more densely to match the 73...Jump to post
KE, OZ, Virgin Australia, BA on the 77W and some 77Es, EgyptAir, Biman Bangladesh, ET.
I’m sure I’m still missing a few.
I wonder if economy is 3-3-3 or 3-4-3. someone correct me if I am wrong here but I thought Boeing reduced some space in the frames/sidewall etc to allow for 3-4-3 at a more comfortable width? They did. They added 4 inches of width. So the 777X will have the same seat width as the 787 at 10 abreast....Jump to post

The people over at The Points Guy love him, yes I’m jealous but the love fest is too much. I would agree that the sensationalism around these young followers is getting out of control. I say this as a 25 year old who works in social media and brand marketing.
I think we'd see a lot more Airbus narrowbodies, particularly NEO's on property. I agree the 787 was important to NW, I could see 788s for long thin routes, and 789s for more premium routes. I would have loved to see the red tail live on.
Gag! Black and white doesn't say Germany. Black and white are probably the two lowest weight colors for paint and this is nothing more than a way to drop a couple hundred pounds. Is there any major brand in the world which only uses black and white? (Mercedes is close) but considering no other desi...Jump to post
Haven’t seen anyone else post this, photo quality not the greatest, but the first 77W is painted in the new livery. C-FITL, fin 731.
Fantastic report! I subscribe to your YouTube channel, I was stoked to see the takeoff video. I love the 321 with those Pratts. I agree with some others that it's a shame there's no seat back IFE. There is no big wifi hump on these birds, was the streaming okay? Real beauty of a plane from the outsi...Jump to post

Pardon my ignorance, but is this thread now Beluga exclusive or will we still see updates on passenger A330s? -Rowen Are you suggesting a complete and severe thread drift as this thread and topic is obviously exlusive to the Airbus Beluga! Any updates on the CZ A321neo? It flew months ago and still no delivery. Is the plane certified yet?

I recently flew 2A on a 199 seat bird, the old Soaring Spirit jet to be specific. It wasn't the best ride, pitch even in First is pretty tight. I think it's around 37 inches. I'm pretty tall, so everything is pretty tight for me. But, I did appreciate the AVOD, power ports, and mood lighting. It's n...Jump to post
Has China certified the A321neo yet? The first CZ plane flew a while ago and we haven't seen much since.
How is the A35K's climb performance? It won't step climb like a 77W will it?
Aggressive takeoff with heavy thrust reduction and level off. Especially on 757s. Though, some of my most memorable takeoffs have been on MDs. This past summer out of DTW on a 29 year old -88, long takeoff roll and steep climb. My favorite however, was out of MCI to MSP on a DC-9-50 on NW. I swear t...Jump to post
Who else is still flying the 777-200LR? AC is one I can think of, along with EK/QR. DL operates 8, PIA operates 2, Turkmenistan operates 3, and Iraqi Airways operates 1. DL operates 10. AI offloaded their 77Ls quickly, calling them "gas guzzlers". Like the now vanished A345 they are niche...Jump to post
One of the last times I flew AA, a flight attendant asked the man next to me if he'd like to move to the exit row for extra leg room. I'm 6 feet 4 inches tall, so naturally I was annoyed. I switched to DL and started ponying up for first class.
Any ideas? I can't find any listings, and I have a collector's shop in town but I figured someone here may know.
Wonderful piece on the Queen of the Skies. But I do wonder, could FO Clairborne have gotten left seat on something larger than a 757? Yeah, that was really a shock. When she said “smaller,” I was fully expecting that to be a light hearted joke as she moved on to the 77W, but no, she actually meant ...Jump to post
I could see AA with the 779 eventually, but the 77W fleet is too young to even consider replacement. I agree with sentiments above about DL, if they want a larger aircraft, the A350-1000 would be a nice step up.
None of those products look particularly great, the color scheme is far too cold when compared with the current style which is inviting and warm. I am happy to see they have finally dropped the flip down style bed in J, but the new product looks quite cramped width wise (that might just be the phot...Jump to post
The first suite looks great from a privacy perspective, but I agree about the transition from a chair to a bed. Also, the colors are so sterile. Maybe because they're easier to maintain or clean. The new J seat is really a downgrade in my honest opinion. The current seat in the 77W and A350 looks mu...Jump to post
