AVL is kind of in between GSP CLT and TYS. Its expensive ti fly in and out of. Im greatful G4 is there to kind of keep the US3 at bay. I sure do miss FL, and working the AVL flightback in Florida. I wish we could get either B6 or F9 in here, and at least make the airport a busier place than it is. ...

With the departure of EY from EDI in October 2018 as well, EK aims to capture the traffic and fill the void left by EY. Hopefully, this will not affect their GLA operation, but I don't think the 3rd flight from GLA will happen anytime soon now Too bad the dont stary service sooner for the busy summ...

I wish dl would bring the 767back to TPA. I flew on one in with the ron allen and wavy gravy TPA-ATL. . I also remember CO flying one to IAH from TPA flew in as a charter. I was able to non rev on it per station agreement. I wish we'd see widebodies again domestically

They have AM and LAN listed for TPA. Those airlines dont serve TPA unless i am missing something. Only thing i can think of is maybe they flew a charter to TPA at one point ti be included on tbis list.

Very cool. I got to fo tdy to a couple of outstations because theu were short handed and i got to bring back old airline signs from them that the station managers gave .me or airport authorities. I even have the old signs from Tampa Intl before they were al lit up

My 1st ride was on a KIWI 722 TPA-MDW in 1995. Plus a UA 722 took me to boot camp in 2001, TPA-ORD, they launched space shittle atlantis that day and got to see it from TPA. She is still my favourite plane ever. I would love one more flight on one

Airtran was AirTran Airways. I believe the fisrst Airtran was airtran airlines, and tjen changed to Airways afyer the Valujet merger IIRC. I believe i have some signage in storage that says both Airtran airlines and Airtran Airways

I would like to see more PIE-west coast. ATA(TZ) used to run to LAX LAS and those flights had decent load factors. I believe they were also through flights to HNL but Icant remember.
