I've worked for two CRAF 747 carriers, in my experience the vast majority of AMC charters aren't anywhere close to topping out weight-wise. Many are closer to half a 744's max payload.

True freighters don't generally have fire suppression systems on the main deck, at least on aircraft where the crew has access inflight. In this case it would be the same as on a passenger flight, crew would be using handheld fire extinguishers.

I can think of a certain US based cargo carrier (one with some older 747 frames to eventually replace) that Boeing would still love to win over for a handful of 747-8Fs.

Plane has been picked up and moved onto the Kalitta ramp. Investigation looks to be ongoing, lots of vehicles, floodlights, etc. still in place around it. Tail cone and some other debris are still sitting across the road. Area is still crawling with Airport PD and their rent-a-cops.
