Amazing how many airlines are in Europe. Seems airfares are very cheap with all the competition.Jump to post
.Or PAE could be a total flop! AS management stated today that they increased their original plan of eight flights a day to thirteen as they're very bullish on PAE being a success. They also stated they are prepared to go mainline if and when loads warrant it. Everyone knows this will be so success...Jump to post

Just like every other merger AA has been a part of, after they digested the remnants of the carcass it all went towards the existing bulk of the airline.
You can get airfare / travel alerts on websites.Jump to post
Is AS allowed to split 1 gate into 2 E175 ground loading positions? They should allow 2 or 3 aircraft per gate. You will have to walk a little ways though. But to be as efficient as possible, they need to go all the way and use Boeing aircraft. Wouldn't the smaller E175 actually cost Alaska Airline...Jump to post

This is going to be very interesting to watch.
I will just say it. Poor Alaska.... Barely squeezing a profit. Maybe setup some soup kitchens? I am heading off to their corporate office to donate some firewood, and maybe a few packs of Top Ramen. Meantime, I keep seeing their planes taking off, and they look like pretty full planes. The Seattle ...Jump to post
Hitting front doors Sunday morning, the Seattle Times has a very unflattering front page story on the unraveling at Alaska Air Group. Some of this is not new; other stuff like pilots holding their planes at the busy C/D/NS holding ramp at SEA to slow down the operation is. . I can assure you that n...Jump to post
For some of these E175 routes, you would think they would use an A319 / 737 - 700 instead. Maybe this will happen later when the market grows.Jump to post
Ok, thank you for the info. The competition is going to be fun to watch.Jump to post

Supposedly Wenatchee Washington - San Francisco starts Summer 2018 probably with United Express / Skywest. I don't see how this will work out especially if the schedule is terrible. Afternoon flight, forget it. I bet they will be using a 50 passenger crj200. As much as I’d like to see this happen, ...Jump to post
All to be reactivated by 2Q 2018. Most are stored at Mathis Field in "Near-Flying" condition on month to month lease of ramp space.
Do they have pilots to fly those aircraft? AA must see growth opportunity with the strong economy and this is a quick way to add to their fleet. That’s a lot of jets to add back, granted small RJs, but I’m curious where they’ll send them. They will probably use them to serve smaller cities / smalle...Jump to post

UA SFO-STL APR 1.9>1.2 MAY 1.9>1.0 This one I find interesting. Not sure the last time STL-SFO was only once daily on United. It does happen to overlap when WN starts STL-SJC though. Also, it is mainline SFO->STL but RJ on the return. There are no mainline UA flight from STL to anywhere over the sa...Jump to post

Does anyone know if the E175 is capable of flying out of JAC? Seems like a hole in the AS/QX network, historically probably due to equipment decisions. AA/DL/UA/F9 all primarily fly the CR7 and A319 into Jackson Hole. With the E175 and A319 coming on line, AAG could possibly enter this lucrative ma...Jump to post

And I would love to see an increase for the other 4 airports and especially would love to see LAX drop down to 50 million passengers a year if not 40 million. Someone invited me down to Hollywood.
