There is a massive supply( that becomes oversupply) of new planes coming into the market. Maybe he uses the position of cash to buy cheap assets in the next downturn. Might be a great way to get planes.

Actually, KLM isn't completely wrong. In many situations where a routing over CVG makes much more sense, the connection via out of the way ATL appears in the first 5 or so results. DLs job is to maximize revenue with lowest costs, therefore if it made "much more sense" DL would be showing...

The food service is so terribly slow, granted I was there on a Saturday afternoon, but it was so understaffed. The airport itself is very nice and the easy to transit.

There seems to be a lot of capacity in the market (that get the lower yielding tourists), not much of a premium draw, low O/D, seems like KLM is fine conceding that market. It just isn't that big or valuable.

Flew UA/DL 777s the config. The 2 side was great. The middle section was not bad either. With the lower load factor, that middle seat was great to stretch out.
