A friend of mine at AA has told me that a few extra flights will be operated out of MIA tonight specifically for evacuation. Looks like 12 to DFW, 2 to JFK, and 1 to PHL.

Great news although the AC 787 Y class is really infamous. It is a fixture on the YVR to YYZ route and it's unbearable on such a medium haul flight. Can't imagine doing 10 hours in agony. To each their own, but I flew 8 hours NRT-YVR on that seat and it was the most comfortable TPAC flight I've had...

YEG only has KL to AMS year-round, assuming FI to KEF isn't long haul. WS flies to LGW, but that service is seasonal.

Boom, another one... A passenger on DL129 from Seattle to Beijing this evening (July 6) tried to enter the cockpit of the aircraft (76W) and allegedly injured three people while he was at it. Sounds like he/she attacked an F/A and injured another passenger who was possibly trying to restrain him/her...
