In September I’m flying DL from the mainland HA and WN inter island then AS back to the mainland then DL back to the east coast can’t wait.Jump to post
What’s the aircraft type?Jump to post
Just curious but why wouldn’t a state push for more tourism?Jump to post

that will be the same day that the Titanic makes it to New York.
noticed in the OAG thread that UA is reducing its new MHT-IAD from 3 to 2 x daily in May. Don't know if that is indicative of anything, but that leaves UA with just 2 daily departures from MHT in May Was told last we that the loads have been in the mid 70s when the route started it was in the 30s a...Jump to post

It would be nice if UA kept that “ first MAX10” on the side.Jump to post
From the outside of the tower it certainly seems that way. I flew on G-XLEB BOS-LHR the first spring it was here (2017) and I remember being confused as to why we had to wait 15-20 minutes in position on 15R before we started our takeoff roll. Then I thought more about it and (I believe you all had...Jump to post

The one report with the two pilots that never had a MAX flight before and had a maintenance light laminated why would of they even operated the aircraft if they were unsure of things?Jump to post
BTV going after service to BOS.

I assume you mean AS is adding SMF-KOA which is already flying (seasonally I believe); if AS is going to fly SMF-LIH, this is the first I've heard of it. bb Yes, you are 100% right. I just assumed it was LIH due to KOA being such a disaster last summer. For this past summer, AS's best markets in th...Jump to post

Same 737 the got hit by lightning leaving Manchester last fall.Jump to post
What would F9 or NK do for the yields in Manchester? All we would probably get is cheap fares to Florida witch is great but how’d the current airlines react? Same with B6 all we’d get is FLL and MCO probably not much money to be made in that market now if we’d get a few JFK flights that be nice. Wit...Jump to post

So this is how the FAA has been using its resources during the shut down?... Approving ice runways in the backwaters of New Hampshire. I’m sure the airlines have some questions for the FAA as to why they’re spending time approving this and not clearing their new aircraft deliveries. All this in jes...Jump to post
The thing about Frontier, at least in my view, is that they aren't reluctant to ditch routes that 'underperform.' The worst case scenario is that Frontier does as people fear...they push JetBlue out. Then, they leave themselves. I kinda feel the same way. Plus they must thrash the yields at the air...Jump to post
The FAA approval is the unique part, most lakes freeze; guys put skis on their gear and go flying. I’d love to know what exactly the FAA approved? It’s not like an airline will use it. AK lakes thaw completely so I doubt year round ice runways there. GF There’s a Facebook page ran by the manager th...Jump to post
I must say this is a must see if your in the area. I live in NH myself and try to head up every weekend that it’s open.Jump to post
I guess United has a systemic issue and their safety culture needs to be evaluated. Touche. Not a good week for aviation. Maybe ATC is feeling the stress of working for free? Why would this have anything to do with ATC? It has everything to do with a plane that’s been overstretched that has stupid ...Jump to post

I will chime in on my 2019 wish list for MHT. WN restores non stop service MHT-DEN 1 additional daily MDW service or 1 daily MHT-STL and seasonal service MHT-FLL and or MHT-RSW saturday service. AA hopefully is successful on their MHT-ORD service that they add additional frequency. DL 2nd daily MHT...Jump to post

WN isn’t increasing flights at MHT, but they are increasing seats. The -800s have been exceeding the -700s for awhile now. They maybe increasing seats, but they aren’t increasing the rear ends sitting on them as testified by the stats for this year I believe last year had more daily flights. This w...Jump to post
Looking into heading to DC at the end of March to use up unused 2018 vacation time. Would like to keep this trip easy and reasonably priced as possible. Why do people keep discussing MHT getting international service? It's not going to. Manchester is not an existing port of entry like Portland and Portsmouth are. The federal government has proven stingy about hiring adequate CBP staff at existing ports of entry. The only reason why PSM is an intern...Jump to post
The airline business is funny and fickle. I really don't believe the name change to 'Manchester-Boston-Regional' had anything to do with its backward slide, nor do I think a new name will help it revive. Airlines do what they do based on things that are more macro than that. However, I'm cautiously...Jump to post
Ok, so as promised, I figured out how to do the OTP for BDL, file is linked below, data thru September 18 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1nkYoULwkcFR56_tkF5yWodEUSQXpZPR5 Caveats Like any tables from the DOT they have their limits, here's this tables: 1. UPS has been flying 757s between MHT and RFD. So that alone may account for their increase. Within the area of MHT, UPS has opened a giant logistics center that may be why the RFD flight exists. Or it may be entirely coincidental. It may not be a strong limb, but I’ll go out on it anyway: AA will l...Jump to post

So I finally got a chance to complete an update on my analysis for Massport numbers going all the way back to 1998 (fun task i can tell you copying from PDF's by month) and here it is. Usual formats for reporting (Month, YTD, Year and Rolling), I have run 2 sets of analysis, every year for the last...Jump to post
