Re: PIT Update Discussion Thread 2018

Does anybody know what's up with OneJet? Did they shut down for the holidays? Haven't seen any scheduled flights for 2 weeks on flightaware. They do shut down for the holidays. No flights the weeks starting 12/25 and 1/1. Unfortunately here in Milwaukee the flight display boards just show their nor...

I don't think G4 will need 3 gates. They will only have 2 planes based there. CVG currently has 4 planes based here with only 1 leased gate and uses 2 common use gates pretty frequently. CVG will soon have 5 A320's based here and there is currently no talk about getting another gate.

Ultimate Air Shuttle is cutting LUK-PDK effective 3/19/2018, loads have been <50% so not a surprise, but unfortunate. It seems like they are unable to make anything new work at this point. That is unfortunate but I'm starting to think that they need to do like OneJet and operate out of the main air...

It looks like CVG-PVD/RDU/LAX are doing well, all three are being upgraded from an A319 to an A320. This is mainly because the G4 CVG base will be an A320 base next year. The transition starts in January so that by April there will be 5 of the brand new A320's based at CVG. There will still be some...
