I think HEL is well covered, if not overserved because of AY's big hub in HEL. Also I think those Anna.aero figures are wrong, they are based on the number of searches for a flight and not on PDEW.

Basically as you have mentioned, alot of larger hubs are over served like ATL, DFW, CLT, FRA, DXB, DOH and I can keep on going. Im not saying some of the airports I have mentioned dont have high O&D pax numbers, but most of the traffic is connecting pax.

I think 5 daily is better suited for this huge and high yielding market.

Not a real shocker. EY always seem pretty weak in SFO ever since they have gone down to 3 frequencies a week. Im pretty sure EK is also not what it used to be in SFO, and I guess the laptop ban contributes to that. OTOH, AI seem to be doing great in SFO.

EWR is very important to UA and it serves as a major O&D station. But as others have said, Its not going to be a mega hub. I think the only place that can serve as a mega hub is IAH but thats probably not going to happen, at least not in the scale of DFW or ATL.

It looks real nice and cosy! Its about time they will change their Business Class layout in the widebodies, plus the E+ looks real nice. I do wonder if the new seats on the 787s will have an AVOD, because the other widebodies in LY's fleet dont have AVOD which sucks.

I would not say there is zero demand between the two cities, but as others have said, the demand is flowing through different Asian hubs.

I was just watching the number of airlines adding flights to Cyprus and I was totally shocked! 9 airlines will be serving TLV-LCA/PFO this year! I wonder if the market is really that big to support 9 airlines, or is it saturated. Plus I guess that the yields are really trashy.

Its highly unlikely that they will fly to OTP,its a very limited market. Plus I dont think any of the airlines that you have listed fly to DOH, KWI or RUH.

Agree with you about DL, but B6 receives tons of connecting traffic, alot of the airlines that fly to JFK partner with B6.

RUN-MRU is a very short flight( 231 km) and MK and UU use many widebodies on that route.
