What I don't get is why don't they start building a new departure bank so their planes don't have to sit for 12 hours at various US airports. JFK seems to be the odds on favorite just because its New York City. ATL could be possible, but does the A350 have the range? Any other DL hubs are most likely not on the list....this round.

Are people forgetting that the A359 is much more fuel efficient than the 77Ls that Delta used to use for its India nonstops? IMO I think PDL would do better for flights to Southern/Western Europe than ANC would be for Trans-Pacific destinations.
