Re: Delta Widebody Thread - 2018

They're definitely not afraid to use the old 763's on any one-off runs that need a plane, including their regular trips out to HNL. A year or two ago I would've assumed they'd be gone by now. Which birds are you specifically referring to here that you thought would be "gone by now"? The t...

Re: OAG Changes 5/6/2018:DL Drops CVG-XNA; 3M Drops MCO-FPO

Not to stray too far from the topic at hand, but we XNA nerds are stoked at the fact that AA is reinstating mainline service starting in July with A319s to DFW. Certainly exciting news for our little airport. I didn't realize that A319 was happening. Good for XNA. Seems odd for it only to be one fl...

Re: OAG Changes 5/6/2018:DL Drops CVG-XNA; 3M Drops MCO-FPO

Still that odd schedule and on a CRJ as mentioned. Two thoughts on this... 1) They are dropping it in early August, so the season for CVG-XNA is April-July? Makes no sense. 2) It's all business, there is no seasonality of consequence. I suspect this is some sort of negotiation between P&G and D...

Re: OAG Changes 5/6/2018:DL Drops CVG-XNA; 3M Drops MCO-FPO

The problem with both CVG-MEM/XNA was DL eliminating the possibility for one-day trips. No business route like this can survive with a schedule like this: 15:35-16:31 CVG-XNA 17:00-19:44 XNA-CVG This schedule turned what used to be 1-day trips between the two cities into 3 day trips. Re: When did you fly on your first 737 and A320?

737: Mid 90s, would guess 95 or so, on WN, LIT-STL. First flight for me period.
320: 2015 on DL, SAN-SLC. This flight was my first Airbus flight as well.

Nothing too glamorous for me. A WN 737 (not sure of the variant) from LIT-STL in ~1995 or so.

Re: Delta Aircraft Refurbishment - 2017

Doesn't look like N820DX or N823DX (the 75Gs on this side of the world) have flown since Friday with nothing scheduled, with N820DX being at RDU since then. I know this weekend is a relatively low point in the schedules overall but still struck me a bit odd.
