Is this the first time AA will fly CLT-TUL / OKC 3x daily? Seems these routes are doing well! Its the region - CLT/SGF is also seeing an additional flight. Just wondering when ICT-CLT gets added. Both TUL/OKC were never flown by US metal in ages and ages. I think at one point OKC was linked to LIT ...Jump to post

In contrast, most of the food courts and chain restaurants in the middle of the domestic concourses have great ramp views. I had dinner at the TGI Friday's on B last night and got my fill of Douglas aircraft for the next 6 months at least. Very true. I frequent the PF Changs that's in A on the seco...Jump to post

If anyone has any pictures that would be great?
I was a bit puzzled by the transcript of the Delta earnings call last week where Ed Bastian answered a question from Edward Russell from Flightglobal by stating that all domestic 767 were retired, and continued by saying that 3 of the transatlantic 767 will be retired by the end of the current year...Jump to post
I know the 763 (non ER) fleet doesn't really fit the "refurb" topic but I figured this thread would get the most attention for the specific question. I know the remaining fleet is fairly small, but is there any strategy for where the birds are used? They're ETOPS certified but some of them...Jump to post
Internal visual: Standard DC-9 style with 5 abreast seating. Main difference the MD-88 is 3+2 seating and the MD-90 is reversed 2+3. Also the MD-90 has some sort of basic AVOD, don't think any of the 88's do. If I'm not mistaken, the original batch of MD-90s had some sort of entertainment system (I...Jump to post
Hi Guys! So the mods and refurbs have begun on all of the existing YX E175 and E170 fleet for Delta Connection and Delta Shuttle. Starting in April YX will begin receiving the first of (6) former CP E-170 Delta Connection aircraft, two are in-house already. These additional (6) E-170's will have th...Jump to post
There has been a steady downward coarsening of social mores in this country (the USA) and much of the world over the last 50-60 years. What is crazy is that all the CRJ-200's are expected to be removed from CVG by the end of 2017... Expected by who? Lots of 50 seat CRJ flying still showing in the schedule out of CVG in 2018. I seriously doubt these are all going to be replaced. I have no information at all about CRJs in CVG, but D...Jump to post
The A350 is a longhaul aircraft and not intended for such routes. We might see a few such flights for crew familiarization flights or at times where the plane would otherwise idle. Yet an A330 has been running ATL-PHX, a 777 on ATL-LAX, and both a 763ER and 764 on ATL-SAN consistently for the last ...Jump to post

Noticed that DL is using the code 738 in OAG again, but added several flights with the config of. F16Y138. Could these be the ex-GOL 738s, the 73A? Additionally, the A320 P2 mod is now in the schedule for some A320 flights This may have been covered and I just missed it. If DL is not doing a full m...Jump to post
Can't imagine that LIT will change a thing based on the last year's trend. They got STL added back but other than that, everything else seems to be stagnant. DL mainline has been steadily gaining share of traffic over the last 2-3 years and I imagine if they tried to invest in price, they could knoc...Jump to post
So how is it that the laws of breaking fares down to each component work for everything else but food?????? If prices do not go up does that mean that a food component was in the fares but the service not provided? I expect fares to rise, if they do not, it will mean that they have been playing loo...Jump to post
So that is where it would get fun. This list is (more or less) in order of the planes being completed. As you suspect, sorting them in numerical order would not always be helpful because many of these subfleets do in fact have gaps in their registrations. Some gaps are smaller and some are larger a...Jump to post

I got in late last night on a WN charter and the airport was a mess. There was an earlier charter still in the parking spot that hadn't been refueled to go back. So even though we landed on time, we had to sit and wait for 30-45 minutes while the airport got around to refueling the other 737.Jump to post

XNA is also my home airport and I almost exclusively fly DL. Their website has jumped around a bit over the last few years as to what they refer to XNA as. Even their FA's, both regional and mainline, sometimes get confused on what to call it. For a while, and it may still, their online timetable ev...Jump to post

N659DL is showing up on a trip from ATL-STT tomorrow on FR24. No other flights (past or future) are listed. Estimated mod completion date was last week. Is that one done? Perhaps her sister 660DL took that spot since coming back in from the desert to fly to SAL?Jump to post

Thanks for the update as always. :) DL ATL-XNA JUL 7>6 AUG 7>6 Not mad about this at all, seeing as how Delta's CRJ seems to disappear completely from XNA starting in June. Are all the 767-300's (Non ER) retired yet? Look at CVG-XNA, which is being up-gauged to a CRJ-700 in May, XNA is not even serviced from DTW. More than 90 percent of our passengers already bring a device or screen with them when they fly. In Saturday's schedule update DL moved the last XNA-ATL departure from around 6:30pm, to either 7:30 (March) or 8 (April), resulting in landing in Atlanta around 10:30. I'd guess on any given day, flights here at XNA are roughly half CRJ or ER4 versus larger planes.
