Re: Virgin America seating

Congrats on getting your first VX flight, you'll definitely love it. I would recommend sitting towards the back of the aircraft as there's always more overhead space there whenever I sit between rows 18-25. Virgin America does not board back to front like on jetBlue, they use zones like AA/DL/UA. Yo...

Re: British Airways at PHL

As OslPhlWasChi said, the total number of seats went up by about a hundred or so, from the previous 1x daily AA A330, BA 772 & 788/9. Now operated by two AA A330 and one BA 744, I would think that the route is doing well. I often fly Spirit out of PHL, a gate over from BA and I always see their ...

Re: miami to fort lauderdale

Take the Tri-Rail. That's fine most of the time. However if you arrive in MIA in the evening on a Saturday or Sunday you might have to wait up to three hours for a train. That happened to me recently when I arrived in MIA at 1800 on a Sunday. The Tri-Rail wasn't scheduled to leave MIA until after 2...

If you're flying in, there's a monorail between MIA and the Intermodal Center where the tri rail service starts. You talking about MIA Mover? 'Cause technically, that's not a monorail. :box: I believe so, if that's the cool little train that takes you between the Intermodal Center and the airport. ...

Thank you all for the great responses! I switched my seats back to the A/B/C side. Most videos on YouTube seem to show the strip seen on the right side of the airplane. I wonder why that is?

I'm looking forward to visiting Vegas, and visiting the Airplane Shop there!

Take the Tri-Rail. There are plenty of stations between Miami and Fort Lauderdale so one should be close to where you're originating. Flying into LAS for the first time- which side?

Hi all! For my family trip, we're doing a two week adventure in California with a stop in Las Vegas next month. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it turns out renting a car in Vegas and returning it in LAX for the remainder of our trip is more cost efficient than picking it up in SFO. That being said...

Going back to the US and Florida, as you included MIA/FLL/PBI, you could say Orlando has a decent concentration of airports. You've got MCO/SFB/TPA/PIE all within about 90 minutes or so of each other. You could add JAX/DAB if you wanna be generous.
