I doubt TSA would allow skates in the hand luggage airside, so I would expect them offering rental skates. In a weird turn of events, Havana Air reverted the titles on one of the former Eastern 737s back to the Eastern title and logo. If the company really is dead, why would Swift go through the hassle of replacing the titles back to EAL? Weird for sure, but something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

I believe Vegas has been using Swift Air. On their current road trip I've seen their travel videos on Facebook and it seems like the usual Swift Air 734.

Virgin America offers free alcohol on their Los Angeles to Vegas service. Because the flight is so short, they only have limited catering and offer passengers either water, white wine or beer for free (at least as of October 2017)

I did indeed write LH upon arriving home,even called them...their answers were even more upsetting than the experience ,and there was a limit to the length of the report. My favorite airline, Virgin America, also has one of my favorite callsigns: Redwood, because of the beautiful California Redwoods in their home state. The Muir Woods, known for their Redwoods is in close proximity to their hub at San Francisco. It'll be sad to see this callsign go away in April :(

I noticed that the VX flight numbers changed back in the first week of September. Flight 1 changed to 1001, 340 changed to 1340, etc. Certainly sad to see the merger is already in full effect. Not looking forward to the elimination of the brand and product.

Wow, that's expensive. jetBlue capped prices at $99, and I scored my flight out yesterday for $51 on Spirit after buying the ticket the day before. But there's no doubt they'll fill that plane up, especially when considering the massive traffic to get out of FL.
