Hello everyone, I do have one last brief but simple question. I already have the single entry e-Visa to enter Vietnam and it was extremely easy to apply for and receive as everyone mentioned above. My last question is if the single entry Visa is sufficient documentation with my passport for domestic...

Jump to postHello everyone, thank you all for the help! I really appreciated everyone's information about the visa. I'll be taking care of it tomorrow. It seems a lot more straightforward than I'd expected! Regarding the flights, I struggled to find any good award flights that didn't involve the 5:15am arrival ...
Jump to postHello everyone, First post here in such a long time so it's nice to be back! I am once again asking for some travel advice, after I received such great help booking my flights to Europe last year through here! I am planning a trip to SGN for mid-May and have been struggling to find good award availa...
Jump to postCan anyone confirm if G-EUPJ has been retired? I recall some discussion about it's retirement date coming up and I haven't seen anything about it recently. The aircraft has been parked in MAD for just about two weeks now, and do not know if it has anything to do with the retirement or if it's there ...
Jump to postThank you to everyone who's responded so quickly! These are great tips and I've enjoyed reading them. There is the Royal Air Force Museum in northern London which is worth visiting. I admit, it's military aviation and not civilian but it's fun anyway. There's a bus stop right in front of it and it's...
Jump to postHello everyone, First off, I'd like to again thank those who replied and gave me assistance in planning this trip. It was of big help, and if anyone else needs similar tips, they can check out my previous thread here: https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1473169&p=23315659&...
Jump to postHello everyone, Thank you very much for the replies. I enjoyed reading them and taking them into consideration for this trip that I am planning. The assistance I received from you guys, particularly in relation to clearing customs has helped me out a great deal. After considering all of these replie...
Jump to postHello everyone, I'm excited to be planning my first trip across the pond. Found a very desirable fare with LH that would allow me to fly on my first 747. While my final destination would be LHR, I do see a few options to have a longer layover in FRA if I would prefer. My main question is, if I book ...
Jump to postI had a couple transcon flights booked with AS this month booked on the 7M9s that have been changed to the 739ER/738. Noticed they removed the MAX from a whole lot of other flights this month as well. A little disappointed as I was looking forward to my first ride on the MAX but of course these thin...
Jump to postWindows seats cost just the same as other seats and most people who take one do it for another reasons than the scenery. In any case, this is not the windows of the person sitting there, the light does not stop at your seat and will influence a larger surrounding area. While I'd love to look at lan...
Jump to postHow on Earth were these people able to get airside?! I'm not sure what's more alarming, the act that they committed, or the fact that one of the world's busiest airports has such lackluster security. Fortunately this time it was these crazy environmental protestors with no ulterior motive. Shame on ...
Jump to postMy initial thought to seeing their livery was "Oh, Wingo changed their logo". It's a nice livery for sure though despite the similarities.
Jump to postIt will be interesting to see how the public's desire for social distancing works with AA's strategy of packing customers into its planes like sardines. I’ve been flying AA extensively since the end of October. Majority of flights have been 80-90% full, even had a few 100% loads around Christmas. N...
Jump to postThey really started getting on top of keeping non-restaurant patrons out about 2-3 years ago. It's disappointing for sure and has negatively impacted my perception of the restaurant but I can't blame them. The lot used to be filled with a lot of broken glass, supposedly from people exhibiting poor b...
Jump to postTerminal 3 at KFLL, especially the AA section. Not a lot of room and the men's room always smells bad. Believe the terminal is in the process of being redone though. That terminal used to be one of the worst. Especially when the air conditioning wouldn’t work (which was like half of the time). Fort...

More new Eastern routes: Santa Cruz now bookable, starts 11 November. Philadelphia launches 18 December. Santo Domingo launches 17 December. Also Eastern’s website has no schedules loaded but drop down menu indicates it will launch from Miami flights to GUA, MGA, PAP, CNF, BSB, CWB, LIM and BOS (as...

DL adding FLL-LAX is pretty interesting. Fits well with their FLL focus city. AS/B6/NK are all in there daily, plus AA out of MIA, so more competition is always exciting here. I wonder if it's a response to B6 adding PBI-LAX last week, because I would've thought they would've wanted to connect other...
Jump to postA pork roll/taylor ham debate on a topic about Liberty International Airport is peak New Jersey. It's pork roll by the way. I for one am excited to see the new Terminal One at Newark, and hope it causes many people to drop the "Sewark" nickname it has. I do wonder if it'll lead to the othe...
Jump to postPossibly STL? But even that seems like a stretch of being feasible. Not really. TW flew STL-LAX-HNL-STL, with the eastbound being nonstop, on a 752 into the early '00s. Seeing as the A321XR has longer ranger and less fuel usage... it's definitely feasible. Likely bleed money like a stuck fattened p...
Jump to postFrom what I've experienced, there are zero differences in window size from A320 -> A320neo. The cabins in the A320neos are noticeably quieter, especially if you fly frequently. But the engine noise is just about the only difference between the two models.
Jump to postIt's ultimately good to see that the crew base will be moved to LAX, instead of cut entirely as some members speculated. As a consumer though, it sucks to see B6 leave LGB. Always loved flying with them through there. It's so much easier to use compared to other airports in SoCal. I wouldn't be surp...
Jump to postA319s haven't flown in a while. They were supposed to be retired through 2020, gone no later than 2021. I think they might have been prematurely withdrawn from service due to the effects of the coronavirus. Hoping that's the biggest outcome for F9 during this crisis, and they can weather the storm.
Jump to postThis was discussed briefly in the OAG thread, but I think it merits its own thread. I'm very surprised Denver Air Connection bid on this EAS contract, because it will be their only route that does not serve Denver. It would be nice if Denver Air Connection extended their current Denver-Alliance rou...
Jump to postA younger version of myself would absolutely love the idea of flying to a destination and coming back just for fun. Fortunately however, I don’t have to do it as much since as a result of especially my more recent travels and work, I’ve been able to fly a lot more frequently! While that means flying...
Jump to postACY is a bit surprising considering the role it's played over the years by being connected to other hubs in the Northeast and it's proximity to PHL. I'm a bit shocked that AA doesn't have service to DCA or PHL by now and I think it's long overdue for DL to at least have a CR7 or CR9 to ATL or DTW b...

Jump to post[ That’s nice and all but going to the Caribbean in boarding group C, the kids sit in the back by themselves and the wife and I sit in 2 aisle seats two rows apart. Yeahhh no thanks. Enjoy. It's called "Early Bird" look into it - it's still cheaper than JetBlue's new bag fees.[/quote] Eve...
Jump to postThe visitor organization that helps travelers in distress sounds like a great outfit. Yes I think that is a highlight of this otherwise traumatic experience for the passengers and crew members. I'm sure other airports/cities have organizations like this but it seems like their efforts certainly hel...
Jump to postI like it. Nice modern update. Sucks to see the silver go but perhaps it's a similar paint to AA's? AA's current livery looks the same color under those overcast conditions. The larger flag and titles are make it more modern. They could've done much worse to be honest.
Jump to postInteresting, especially for the impact on EK's FLL flight. I would imagine the codeshare with B6 was a driving factor in their decision to come here instead of MIA. Without that, I wonder how many PNRs were affected and how the flight is doing with only EK pax.
Jump to postI love the dimmable windows on the 787. It’s a great compromise between being able to see outside and being respectful to those in the cabin who want to sleep. You can still see outside pretty decently, and the seat mates get to sleep. Better than the alternative which would be the crew asking ever...

Jump to postHi there, There is a forum post from about 16 years ago that has a little bit of info: https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=225521 with some good pictures. It definitely feels like it's straight from the 80s. While it lacks a ton of modern amenities, I myself am using it tomorrow am and l...
Jump to postSlightly off topic but why are more airlines going with the raccoon mask on the neos? It has to be an option since most neos don't have the mask, but it's interesting seeing more and more airlines add the mask to their Airbuses, including SAS which has the mask on their A320ceos now.
Jump to postVirgin America since AS couldn't repaint those red tails fast enough!
Jump to postI saw this elsewhere today. Official rendering or not, I've no idea... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/whisky110/FB_IMG_1571398148728.jpg Looks beautiful but I doubt that is an official rendering. The tail logo is different and not as clean as the branding on the current Virgin Atlantic tail...
Jump to postMy favorite livery today is Frontier's because the different animals on the tail are always unique and fun to see and I love their modern branding that pays homage to the Saul Bass stylized F. A runner up would be Virgin Atlantic's because there's just something about that silver fuselage and ruby r...
Jump to postCome to think of it I don't believe there's any scheduled CRJ service in FLL. FLL gets the occasional CRJ9 from RDU on DL. It's a healthy mix of 717/A319/A320/CRJ9. Pretty sure MCO has zero CRJs however. I think DL STL-MCO was on one but they axed that this year Wow! I had no idea that DL flew that...

Yeah my first thought was that it looks identical to United. Would be shocked if they don't get a visit from a few lawyers in Chicago.
Jump to postF9 was dramatically different today than of yesterday. PTVs at every seat, and they served free light meals and hot snacks (muffins, donuts, cookies, croissant breakfast sandwiches) until around 2008/2009. 2008 was the last time I flew them before their path to the dark side. I even canceled my cre...
Jump to postLooks like I'm in the minority. I love the new livery and it does it's job with modernizing and unifying the brand. The gradient on the tail especially looks great. It's an evolution that builds off an already strong brand, while saving costs and they did a great job with it.

Jump to postIs it the signal of FLL decline? Nah, the only reason they were on the route was to force Norwegian off of it. Jump to postThank you for this report. A lot of interesting information to digest here this week! A few thoughts on this week’s changes: 1. That DL FLL-NAS flight seems pretty random. Anyone know the reasoning for it and what equipment? 2. Incredibly disappointing to see AS drop LAX/SFO from PHL. I’d be interes...
