Anyone know where to find the busiest o&d domestic markets from ATL? We all know ATL provide connections however there is quite a bit of o&d. To where? Maybe this got answered in another thread, but I'd guess MCO and LGA are up there, below that LAX DTW and surprisingly SAV could be in the ...

Speaking of competition, I understood that WN reduced a lot of flying from ATL when they took over AirTran. Is that the case? If so, how much and what was their rationale for reducing at ATL? A huge part of Delta's revenue advantage is Fortress ATL. They have such a high % of flying in that one HUB UA and AA are much more spread out over numerous hubs with varying degrees of competition that Delta just does not see at ATL. The 5-party agreement was a joke. It limited the number of gates to keep WN from getting too big, and kept other airlines at DFW, with the exception of VX. A better designed terminal at DAL that had say 32 gates, instead of 20 could have easily been accomplished. It wouldn't have had much impact on...

The 742 is the most beautiful variant. For me, it was the 744. The 741 and 2, they represented 'how much money can we lose' based on the world economy and oil shock. When the 744 made the scene, everyone used it to make money and lots of it. The 744 was the 'Queen of the Skies' in a business suit.
