Interesting I guess the SIA Group has the numbers for MAX 8 from SilkAir and the A320neo from Vistara. A320s can always go to Scoot since they are a large operator of the type. They could be taking a SilkAir approach for this airline.

It that much of a deal, they have 40+ aircraft in the 300 seat category. I think what AC would be more interested in is the MOM. There is a bit of a gap where that kind of an aircraft would fit in.

Probably not very much, maybe some control surfaces and other smaller parts. The tail might be fully composite, I think the rudder is at least.

SFO-NRT is only ~10h westbound and ~8h eastbound. DL used a 763 on SFO-NRT. SFO-Asia is really pushing the 767 so UA just sent 747/777s there since they had sufficient range and passenger capacity. SFO-NRT is only ~10h westbound and ~8h eastbound. DL used a 763 on SFO-NRT. I really loved the Air Berlin livery on the 737-800, it just fit the aircraft so damn well! I will also miss the LH livery when it's fully phased out. Another livery I miss seeing is Northwest's final livery. Used to see all of their A320s and 757s blasting out of DTW on a daily basis.

I’m pretty sure this upgrade was for the CFM56-7BE. Which is not the engine affected by the cracks.

Even with the 779 MEX is too far away from HKG for a non-stop flight (14,200 km/7,700 nm). If CX ever starts flights to MEX it will be via a stop in MTY or TIJ. With 789 already doing PVG-MEX unidirectional nonstop, I would think the 779's range would be at least a thousand meter more than that? ME...

The new wing will definitely help out in hot and high conditions, but it remains to be seen how much of that stretch negates the gains in the new wing for the 779.
