Until the current management team at DL retires to the golf courses around ATL, DL is going all Airbus

with a healthy dose of C Series jets as well.

We are near the end of 2017. So in 7 years, on Dec 31, 2024....how many Boeings will be in DL's fleet? The 739ERs and maybe a few 738s left. Is that it? Would 717, 757, 767 be all gone? SCARY to think..... FOR SOME No way will 717s be gone, and I think some of the newest 757s may still be flying by...

N921NN is in the bare metal livery. The only indication that it's been repainted is that the registration number is now in the new font. Eventually they're all going to go away. Whether they keep 17x however many, they won't keep them, especially with the prospects of the 797 on the horizon. The 797 is a decade away at least. I'm betting AA swaps their A359 orders for either A338neos or A332 ceos to replace those remaining 763's Yea...

Why are the Trents on 787 having issues and not all the others on A330 and A380's ? Do they have some new metal that doesn't work well at high temperatures ? Not yet but the new IR Update that contains the fleet plan for 2018 should come out within the next 30 days typically. Aren't they cutting the 767s down to 17? With the 345 fire, they may keep an extra 1993-1995 unit or cut down to 16. Eventually they're all going to go away. Whether they keep 17x ...

Why do they even have to offer 1.5x pay? Can't they just say the software made a mistake and gave EVERYONE off, so we're redoing it with the same bid as before? That's really not unfair. AA's pilot union is raising a big fuss because they were out of the loop on this , so I think the 1.5X pay offer...

How about DFW? The route has been 744/77W exclusive over the past few years, and think a OW hub-hub flight like it could surely fill up enough to warrant a 380. AA might like that as well, they could run 1 less AA bird to LHR, freeing up a widebody for another route. 1 BA A380, 2 x AA 77W's I'm sur...

Yes, I was referring to the color of plastic in the cockpit. Definitely a nod to Airbus, which is a good thing.
