There was another vintage jet crash in WI late yesterday with fatalities .
That plane was also on his way to Oshkosh.

Looks like they expanded the area where QF's 380 naps between flights, they even added lights.
FI and WW now RON at DFW , so the extra ramp space was needed

Last I heard AA hadn't signed off on the design on Term F yet. .

DAL can easily grow beyond its current size of 20 gates. Remember that the airport use to be the principle airport for the region with ~70 gates until DFW opened. It is artificially being restrained far below its max capacity. MDW has double the gates of DFW with more passengers and aircraft moveme...

Allow commercial flights out of the Collin County Airport in McKinney. Majority of the area's growth is up there in big sky country. Love Field is a landlocked in town airport like Midway that really can't grown beyond it's current size. DAL can easily grow beyond its current size of 20 gates. Reme...

Also, DL has the MD-80 & MD-90 retirements to deal with as well as bringing the new CS100
fleet up to speed. Makes sense to make the investment to keep the A320's going for awhile longer

But it didn't have a perfect operational record except for the crash in 2000. There was a Concorde flight from IAD to CDG in 1979 that had wing damage from a blown tire at takeoff. A passenger noticed damage on the wing and was able to get a pilot to look at it before the plane got up to supersonic...

The Airbus brand is gold to airlines customers, this is a good way to show potential CS customers
that Airbus is committed to the C Series long term.
