I think making the 777XF longer than the 778 is a mistake. They will sacrifice too much in total payload weight. They don't need more volume, they need more weight capacity. As long as the 787 are at the right price it will be foolish for DL not accepting AM buying them. After the 737max issue it's not like BA does not know how to design and manufacture planes.
