I love flying in the E175s. Especially in economy +.
Jump to postAnyone who curses the CR2 has never ridden in a J31/41. Those were awful. E120's weren't any better.
Jump to postLooks like the Bills are back, again, with Delta. 767-300 this week. Last season they used all types of heavies.

Makes me yearn for when they used World MD-11s. Yes,I'm that old.
Are the AA mainline ORD-ROC flights just for the PGA ?
Jump to postLooks like no flights to POP yesterday or today. Not even the daily MIA and JFK flights. Are they paving or something ?

Any idea what happened to the Saturday ROC-MIA flight ?
Jump to postWhat happened to the Saturday Eagle ROC-MIA service ? I took it in Feb,and it was great .
Jump to postFor BUF in 2023 wishlist: - Southwest getting back to daily Vegas and Phoenix flights. Those flights did very well pre pandemic. - A legacy carrier showing more faith in the Airport. -> Which I think that has already started with Delta, American, and Frontier using A321s for some of their routes. -...
Jump to postI assume the AA additions are temporary for the PGA? ROC hasn't had AA mainline in 20+ years. Never had it to DFW except for Eagle CR7's a long time ago. Avelo would be nice. ROC has had AA mainline metal since the merger with AWE in 2015, but if you’re referencing legAAcy (couldn’t resist) AA rout...

It looks like DL has downgauged BOS-ROC again. Was an A319. Then a A220-100,now it's a RPA E-175. I thought the whole idea for the flight was for cheaper RON parking .
Jump to postWasn't the A350 order to replace the 744's ? Seems to me,they should stick to 787's to keep fleet commonality.
Jump to postIn ROC,DHL has changed things up. It used to be Kalitta Charters II 733 or 734 (occasionally a 727!) ran CVG-ROC-BDL,sat all day @ BDL and returned at night. Then they changed it to CVG-ROC,sit all day in ROC nad go back to CVG at night (how boring for the pilots). Now,they run the 737 CVG-ROC,then ...
Jump to postNice to see F9 inbound from DEN,today. I don't think ROC has ever had DEN service.

Jump to postI thought the Rouge 767 fleet was going to be converted to freighters?
Jump to postAccording to Wikipedia,ROC gets a Midway flight back, again.
Jump to postAllegiant does not fly to ROC all the time. They are not coming here til Nov 19th. IDK how they can retain employees when they don't work for weeks at a time ?
Jump to postIt's interesting that UA does not leave the plane @ BUF overnite like other airlines do for away team charters.
Jump to postSomething that is so fascinating to me is the fact that F9 is seeing so much early on success in ROC after 4 months of operation, and yet after 6 years G4 continues to remain completely stagnant. Generally speaking where one is successful, the other seems to be as well. I don't understand G4's stag...
Jump to postIt's interesting that Frontier is expanding so aggressively at ROC on already-served routes to Florida. TPA and MCO are likely almost entirely O & D; is WN planning to make TPA and MCO daily again? I don't know numbers, but suspect that a certain amount of AA's traffic at MIA is connecting. May...

You would think zip ties would be easier to use than duct tape..

Air Canada first used Dash 8's when ROC service started. Air Ontario,I believe.
Jump to postWe had Eagle CR7 service ROC-DFW years ago. Maybe it could be added in the future. ROC-PHL mainline was rumored ,but never happened.

Jump to postLooks like Atlas is using a 747-400BCF for FDX this year.
Jump to postAny chance they'll use them on YQB-FLL this winter ?
Jump to postIt will be doing night work around Europe.
Jump to postMaybe EG&G (Janet) will buy them for parts of to add to their fleet.
Jump to postSo,how are the crews getting back to DFW? Is there space available on the Eagle flights ?
Jump to postDidn't they have issues with fuel on the Athens flights ? I remember reading the old 747's sometimes had trouble with range on those flights.
Jump to postI wonder if the Bills will be using Atlas 767 and 747's this season?

There's probably no way to convert these to freighters? Because of the floor beams?

How did you manage that I was told there would be no blanket permits issued.

Jump to postWell if 4/22 is closed, there is nowhere to spot. Guess i'll stay home. Hopefully it won't be too long. There are still quite a few places! Mainly for 28 arrivals the gravel driveway behind the 7/11. Also if you have a lens that is long enough on top of the parking garage especially from the corners...
