It takes new Airlines years to turn a profit normally and Flair in Canada isn't any different. They are going thru some growing pains, but if they stay the course and build up their Network and long term investments in themselves, they can become a solid airline and a solid product.

NK has been to ISP in the past. It would not be a brand new city for them, just a return.
I do find the possibility of ROC very interesting if that is true.

The solid rumor mill is with all the planes NK is getting over the next few months, you will have to fly them somewhere. 4 new domestic cities and 4 international cities to be announced within the coming months. This is all speculation for all of us, but that's what makes a.net fun!

Spirit is a big player on the DTW to FLL route, but the biggest route they are owning is on the DTW to MCO route. NK packs 321's on the route. With multiple 321's daily in high season.

Well NK has the lowest CASM in the industry right now. The pay doesn't have to be at the top scale but as the cost of living goes up, so does what you need to pay your employees. NK has something like just under 1 bil in unrestricted cash on hand. And the pilots know that.

Correct Enilria. The NK pilots are ticked off. Company is not offering them a fair contract. Most of the NEO's are back online now.
This is a bitter labor dispute at NK with their pilots right now. F9 is going thru thing with their pilots. First year F/O pay is a joke.

NK is the launch customer for the Pratts. So of course a new engine will have its kinks. Mid-Air shutdown isn't a pretty situation, but im confident the Pratt folks will hit all the data they can to figure out if that particular engine is a lemon, or if it's an issue with all the Pratts

Other way around sir, G4 announced it's bailing after NK came to town. I guess G4 wasn't willing to fight on the routes with NK.

It is interesting because NK claims that CLE flight levels will temain the same even with the CAK opening.
