I believe it wasn't uninterrupted production, but the DHC-6 Twin Otter was introduced in 1965 and the latest series are in production by Viking now.

50007, 50008 and 50009 were not built. 50006 was the first production standard aircraft but this has not been delivered yet. According to http://www.fliegerfaust.com/ HB-JBC is going to be delivered in the next 48h. As far as I can see, this aircraft only flew once so far. Is that possible? . It first flew on 24th of September and flew probably a few more times after that - for instance there was a flight yesterday.

Press has been invited to YMX today for a delivery ceremony of the first CS100 to Swiss. This is current C-FPAI - eventually HB-JBA at Swiss - which first flew on June 16th. First commercial flight is set for July 15th.

It's easy to start a discussion about if and when BBD should put money into a CS500 variant, but the bottom line at the moment is that the company does not have money to even think about doing this, nor will they have this money for a good number of years to come.
