Jump to postThis is very sad indeed! Now i wonder, could they have flown it out on 5 engines with no payload and just enough fuel to reach a safe airport? It's missing the inboard right one, so i don't think asymmetric thrust would be a big issue. There is a pic of a 747-100 flying without the #3 engine at all...
Jump to postUkraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Sunday that the only An-225 aircraft had been destroyed. There is a tiny little detail. Very few people know that there were actually TWO An-225s. One flying example that we all know. And one unfinished frame. The latter was stored at the "Ant...
Jump to postNow the Netherlands is a small country, but let's look at our neighbors. I mean the Germans, they got a whole bunch of top clubs all over the country. And unfortunately they have to be strict. Imagine you have empty space so you let a few hundred refugees on, and then last minute a bus load of your original manifested pax show up. Do you want to be the one to go back there and tell 50 of the refugees to get off? Think that’ll go down well and not...

It’s Monaco, what did you expect? My expectations were low, but this was an awful "race" that failed to even meet my expectations. I really didn't miss Monaco last year. Have it as a exhibition event, but it's a complete joke in a modern F1 car. There were excitement further back in the p...
Jump to postGood, no great loss there anyway for any of them. And I have no problems with a six team grid - if the other teams are just there to make up the numbers, then they arent contributing to anything but noise, bustle and crowding on the circuit. Jump to postHave to say I'm disappointed, but hardly surprised, to lose the Turkish GP, but adding a second at the Red Bull Ring is good - it rarely fails to provide some interest and/or excitement. Jump to postOr a 340-300. Enough of them are stored. As far as I can see there's not a single LH 343 stored. Looking further in LH group, Airfleets shows a few Swiss ones stored, but those all seem leased, so it's hard to say whether it would be viable to reactive one of those - and they might even have been s...

I don't really see the need reason for the bureaucracy caused by section 1.g 2-4. If it's relevant information, it should be fine to post it even after the six months have passed. If it isn't, it falls under other rules (1.i for example) and should be removed anyway.
Jump to postQantas uses a very similar scheme to Lufthansa (apart from the colours), yet it's highly respected and even considered iconic. Nobody has every accused it of looking like a LCC.
