Actually, we still don’t know where the A321 is going to fly to. I guess it will be based in VIE.

Well, there are different types of residence and working permits. You need to apply for all of them. So it’s not as easy as in the UK where you just show up regardless if you have a job.

I think Iberia Express is not a LCC as such. It was created to save some cost at Iberia. Service is nearly identical to Iberia.

Anyone in the know when IB receives its first A350? It is scheduled for first flight with Iberia to LHR on 20th July. So by then. Also delivery reported July 2018. I have just noticed that there is an A321 to be delivered to Level. I think we all know that IAG is busy setting up something in Austria. But I was under the impression it would be a Vueling outlet. I guess BA needs to find a new spot for its HQ soon! Even if the political and (importantly) legal processes go smoothly for the government, we are likely to be well into the 2020s before any construction begins. Within that period there is significant political and financial risk for the project. ...

One thing I’ve noticed a few times is that during freezing temperature some of the ATR’s don’t have running water (taps) in the toilets. According to FA it freezes. Only a minor thing but still thought it was weird.

Without further checking but BMI works with LH for a while now, Helvetic does some flying for Swiss usually and Austrian took some of the Vienna Traffic. So apart from Iberia Regional which is Air Nostrum and not even a subsidiary of Iberia it seems nothing out of the ordinary.

Maybe, maybe not. However, there are a lot more 787’s coming in future. So far IAG is happy to order A330’s for IB and EI but BA won’t get any for sure. They haven’t ordered any until now so I am certain they won’t order any in future for BA.
