Just saw KE will send B77L to ORD tomorrow (HL7721) instead of regular B77W. Seems like they will fly by smaller sister for a few days. Was hoping to see B748... Just to clarify that HL7721 is a 777-200ER or a just a 772, 77L is a 777-200LR or a 777-F. KE only operates the 77L in freighter version.

This is bizarre. The 787’s are based at ORD, so you’d think a replacement aircraft wouldn’t have been hard to come by there ... so odd. Even if there's a spare available at ORD, it's going to be tough to scare up a crew at 0400, not to mention finding ramp staff to transfer the bags and maintenance...

Only BOG and EZE have the A350......JFK and ORD lost the plane.....maybe LIM and MEX are the next destinations... This may mean some A346s are definitely going.... They have been flying them to ORD/JFK on a regular basis along with the a330. So hopefully they stay for a bit longer... :crossfingers:

It is Boeing's customer code for United. You can do a search on the web and find every customer code that ordered a new Boeing from the 60s up to but not including the 787 and 737MAX. And its "ordered by" not "delivered to" that is relevant for example AI code 37 flies some AC 77...

AZ flew it MXP-ORD as well. And KLM still operates the 744 as a combi on AMS-ORD and other routes as well.

ORD-DME was started with the 777, and eventually went to a 767.

At one time AA flew 5 daily 777s from ORD-LHR.

On Tuesday 08/07 Air Europa flew an A330-200 registration EC-JQQ, BUD-ORD-BUD on behalf of LOT. I guess LO needs some more 787s. While I was in WAW last month I saw SP-LRF a 788 sitting grounded without the #2 engine and a piece of the tail missing, not sure what happwned there.

In other news The Rolling Stones just arrived in ORD today from MAN on a 767-300 reg. ZS-NEX. This particular aircraft flew for LOT Polish Airlines as SP-LPA and was their first 767-300 being delivered way back in 1990. Lets just say this plane has a visited ORD a few times before :duck:

And IB is at it again.. 3x A340-600 flying MAD-ORD right now. Flight IB6169/EC-JCY, IB6259/EC-INO, IB6275/EC-JLE. Also there is an extra LH MUC-ORD frequency today LH436 A330-300/D-AIKC. AF 77W again, AZ resumes FCO-ORD witrh A332, and finally 2nd LH MUC-ORD flight today LH434 is the new livery A350...

Does anybody know why on May 24th we had 5 flights from MAD-ORD? 4x Iberia and 1 Vamos Air 744. 2 of the IB flights a 346 continued on to JFK and another 333 went to BOS after the ORD stop. The other 3 a 346 333 and 332 flew ORD-MAD. However the Vamos 744 still shows as MAD-ORD as it's last flight. ...
