Why does Indigo bother with 77W leases for their DEL / BOM - IST flights ? It's easily doable with their own A321Neo's which they could then offer several flights spread out across the day on.

Who knows. I'd imagine Boeing has pretty watertight contracts with operators of their products stating no sales or parts can be sold or resold onwards to Iran. Hence no 757's / 767's there as GPerm above pointed out. Otherwise we could have seen the likes of EK or EY sell withdrawn 777's to them. Bu...

Only a matter of time before the ex-TG A346's that flew to China recently find their way into Iran once enough fat brown envelopes have been handed over. Iran could also look to Azerbaijan and their two ( stored WFU ? ) A345's.

MoL is saying crew retraining costs is the biggest factor in Lauda Air sticking with A320's and not changing to any kind of 737's. On that basis, I sumhow don't see FR ever going en masse to any Airbus varients unless part of any deal is that Airbus pay for the crew conversion.

Interesting piece from Simple Flying on how MoL wants to expand the Lauda Air subsidery to 50 A320's and not replace them with 737's. He's clearly happy with their performance and hints at a future order. That would be another massive blow to Boeing and the MAX. But he knows he wouldn't get any new ...
