Starting august, Avianca is adding service to Lima, San Salvador and Guatemala City, service to LIM will be daily in airbus A319, SAL will operate 4 times per week and GUA 3 times per week both in A320. Itineraries are open for sale. Excellent adds by AV! That takes their flights to 3 a day now. Al...Jump to post

I'm not so sure WN would be as on board with common use gates as the other carriers given their boarding process (specifically: would ACAA have WN Boarding Posts at most of these common use gates?). They do common use at CUN with no boarding posts. You just line up 1-30 without them. So it is doabl...Jump to post
Cynical? Your damn right. Ive been working this body for decades. Slip me the rights to develop and you will have my vote on the project. If there isn't some grease for my palms, no vote and thus no project. Losing the gates on the west side of C and D makes sense. Not the ends of A and B tthough. ...Jump to post

Are we going to hear this from you every time they announce a route.? Please elaborate, because all I know of is PHF after the People Express debacle...and SRQ-PIT because Allegiant jumped on it and they couldn't compete. Where else did they announce and not start? I am all for small airlines succe...Jump to post
Finally! Thank you Delta, things have gotten out of hand with "emotional support" animals and it gives a really bad rep to the real service animals and those that need them.Jump to post

W O W.....just like that !
Is there a market in FL to these destinations? Snowbirds? The reason I ask is because G4 does not do connections............Normally. That may change for international destinations. Folks here still like to vacation and all of those markets have resorts. If service was started it would only be once...Jump to post
Here I go with the broken record of *if PIT were to win HQ2* but... I have to imagine air cargo would get a big boost. If Prime Air were to come to PIT, would there be enough room for them or other carriers? The north side of the complex seems to get a bit crowded with 5X using their two spaces and...Jump to post
Happy new year. It's time for a new thread. I have moved one post accordingly into this thread. Link to previous thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1337303&p=18973807#p18973807 Starting to get annoying with mods starting new threads and closing old ones just because it is 2018. But anyway.... To add to the predictions for 2018: 1) WOWair announces daily flights for the peak season 2) As much as everyone wants Norwegian or Aer Lingus to give DUB a go, my bet is WOWair (if there is any truth to them wanting to open a hub somewhere other than KEF) 3) NK will announce at least a few of these...Jump to post
I would look for one or more carrier(s) to start service at SFB next year.Jump to post

Again, so when JetBlue moves and the Intl' ops move over to C, who is going to expand or back fill the gates at the Airsides? See My educated predictions below (posted before but with modifications now): Here are my picks for placement when C opens: AS1 - Air Canada, Alaska/Virgin America, Bahamasa...Jump to post
Question for MCO knowledgable: There is a thread about MIA-Tokyo/far east like every 2 months. I was wondering if MCO has regular talks with far east carriers. Are there no talks or is th Orlando crowd just not as fervent. I would love so see Saudi back I am sure MCO has talks with far East carrier...Jump to post
LATAM will be adding service from MCO to Fortaleza, Brazil. No start date has been given yet. With this new service, MCO will have serve 6 cities in Brazil. AD: VCP, REC, CNF DL: GRU LATAM: GRU, GIG, FOR Hopefully, we will see BSB (LATAM or DL) added back soon. It would be nice to see service added ...Jump to post

Some more dots within the US will be connected but I think a lot more international flying will be added. Most would probably be a few times a week and some would probably be seasonal. Here are some of my picks: Canada DEN-YEG/YVR/YWG LAS-YYC/YVR/YWG/YEG MCO-YYZ/YUL/YOW/YQB/YWG/YHZ Mexico DEN-MEX/GD...Jump to post
But with all of this potential, why are they still planning on right sizing the terminal? What IF someone like Alaska decided to increase flights at PIT, or Spirit, or Southwest? What if there was a new airline that wanted to start up here. Where do they go? What about diversions? PIT likes to prom...Jump to post

What does this mean, and whats the impact? Does this mean no significant representation at non-hub airports, and greater use of contracted agents, etc? Or does this mean the same amount of local staff, but they are a phone call away from anyone with authority to resolve problems or make decisions? ...Jump to post
I recently got to visit the ATC tower at MCO (a very rare opportunity in itself) and realized that Gate 96 has been removed, which EK previously used. Does anyone know which gate they use now? Gate 96 is a domestic gate, EK has not used this gate and won't use it as they typically arrive at 83/86. ...Jump to post
NK would stay at AS3. I was re-watching the rendition of the new C terminal, are they set on how many gates the terminal will house? NK has been growing MCO (slowly but they have been) and AS3 is tight as it is, so makes sense to move them to AS1 when B6 goes to C. I thought the total number was 60...Jump to post
I would think the reason AC would go to 1 is because they have pre clearance, unless you need to be at a terminal with an entry point any how. I wonder where Avianca, COPA, Caribbean, and other airlines not partnered with B6 would go, would they still go to C or go to 90's? Here are my picks for pl...Jump to post
