At my company "packs off" is the standard take-off setting for the A320 family. I'm not on that fleet and I know they are also allowed to do pack on take-offs, I just don't know when they would choose to do so. Also they used "single-pack on ground" and "pack flow low" ...

So, airline pilots shouldn’t be required to be licensed as AIRLINE PILOT? Do you really think 250hours, or 6 weeks of full-time work qualifies one to be an airline pilot. Would you go to a doctor with 250 hours of experience or employ a defense lawyer with a total of 250 billable hours? No wonder p...

The B737 NG/MAX doesn't need the direct Canon-view for FAs because they are grandfathered into the old B737 type certificate. And when the B737-100 was approved this regulation didn't exist yet.

I would pull a Convair 880 out of the desert, have it completely restored to factory fresh standard. The inside will be configured as an apartment, I will use it to travel the globe.

The rest of the money is needed to pay the fuel it takes and all the noise fines I'm gonna get :D

I've never flown the ATR, so I'm not 100% on all if this. But still pretty certain.
