Wouldn’t the extra boarding door offset the weight to the port side? Wouldn’t that affect the symmetry of the fuselage? I was #2 for landing for 24R when tower advised both us and the LOT 787 ahead that a small earthquake was happening. We were both cleared to land and landed uneventfully. LAX operations never slowed down but ops and CFR vehicles were continuously performing runway and taxiway inspections.
