People running down stairs was potentially more dangerous than someone exiting an emergency exit door. The whole theater that is TSA is just bizarre and doesn't make much sense. In today's world, probably every exit has a camera on it, why not use that to figure out the problem?

Florida and Texas will not do anything for enforcement. NY and California will most likely have you fill out a form with your contact details. They will then call you to ask if you are self-quarantining. It is possible you might receive a visit in New York, but in reality it is more an honor system.

Does anyone who works at UA know if the October schedules are now firm? I'm looking at booking an October ticket, and it seems like there is more capacity on some routes in October than there is in September. Given that the funding dries up the end of this month, I'm a bit hesitant to think that UA...

It reflects the new reality, and does give people on the fence a push to book seats. I gotta say, it was nice being able to extend my July vacation by a day and United not charging me extra to come back a day later.
