While I haven't heard this whistle, I have a hard time relating to those who don't enjoy the aircraft noise. I get it, some people just don't, but I lived under the approach/departure path west of Hartsfield for years, and loved every minute of it. :D

It’s a sad story, and addiction is a tough part of life for some. I have to say I don’t relate to doing something that could lead to immediate termination, even though I’m not in love with my career.

Back in 2000...

Flew SFO-HKG-SIN via SQ in coach, with a fuel stop in TPE.

Then later on in the trip DAC-DEL with BA. (pretty sure this was a 747, but I could be mistaken)

I think it looks great. Especially the darker color. It's no Wunala Dreaming, but it's more interesting than your typical corporate white livery many a380's have.

it's gotta be a hard call to take any support animal. When it's all said and done, the airline really has no time to fairly evaluate any animal and determine if they are truly safe. The comment about the golden retriever is spot on. While my dog isn't vicious, it takes work to get the ball from him ...

I've always enjoyed using liveatc on my flights. Of course there are limitations. I had a question leading up to this. The Braves were in PHL last weekend and I never saw the charter # go from PHL to anywhere in New York on FA. Given that the cities are fairly close I wondered if the team charted buses?

I have a special needs child in the autism spectrum. This idea that all kids can be "controlled" is obtuse. My son used to have major behavior challenges when younger, and travelling was a nightmare. There is nothing more humiliating than the looks from parents with cookie cutter children ...
